For over four hundred years, the King James Bible has stood as the preserved and inspired Word of God in English — the final authority for faith and doctrine. Yet in the Philippines, millions of souls still read versions that come from corrupted modern texts, not from the Textus Receptus and Masoretic Hebrew manuscripts that God preserved through His Church.

John 3:16 Ministries exists to change that.

To translate the King James Bible, word for word, into Tagalog and Filipino — not by modern paraphrase, not by dynamic interpretation, but by faithful, literal translation of God’s preserved Word.

Most translation groups in the Philippines today follow the same pattern as Wycliffe, the United Bible Societies, and other ecumenical agencies that use the critical text — the same text behind the NIV, ESV, NASB, and hundreds of modern versions. These translations remove or change verses that deal with the deity of Christ, the blood atonement, and salvation by grace alone. This has left the Filipino believer without a trustworthy Bible in his own language.

We believe the Filipino people deserve better — the pure, inspired words of God in their native tongue.

• We have begun compiling verse-by-verse translation notes from the King James Bible, comparing every word against the Received Text.

• A growing team of bilingual believers in the Philippines is working with us to ensure accuracy, readability, and doctrinal faithfulness.

• We are developing a public digital record of the translation process for transparency and accountability.

• Every donation received helps print English-Tagalog study Bibles, distribute existing KJV editions, and support the KJV translators directly.

Because faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

This project is not about linguistics or religion — it is about giving the Filipino people the pure Word of God in their own language, just as the English-speaking world received it through the King James Bible in 1611.
